If you were asleep and dreaming about hiking on mountains of garlic… this restaurant will turn your dream into reality!!
Tucked away cozily behind the Starbucks at 2nd level of Suntec City Mall, lovely garlic scents beckon from this classy black interior.
Even the furniture is adorned with cloves of garlic!
Mad for Garlic is all the way from KOREA, but in swag Italian style – and EVERY dish is infused with BUTTERY GARLIC. **SWOONS**
***Due to a special preparation method of removing the pungent smell of Garlic by the chefs, even non-garlic lovers may be able to enjoy the dishes.***
Start with an unassuming Garlic Potato soup ($7). Creamy!
Tip: Dip the Garlic Bread Tower ($10) in the soup after it is prepared for you specially by the waitress. Topped with puree and super fragrant!
Have some Saute di Cozze Pomodoro ($29) with soft Sliced Baguette. They use juicy premium Black mussels instead of Green – this is the tomato option.
And now for the star – their pizza will seriously knock out your tastebuds!!!
OMG!! This Garlic Snowing Pizza ($24)… we have no words.
Truly enjoyed it.
Generous cheese, sweet white sauce, shrimp, and pineapple.
Really loved this Meatatarian Pizza ($23) with sweet white sauce, bratwurst sausage, ham, and black pepper.
Pizza piping hot and crisp; soft and chewy yet not too thin, and still holds together when you pull each piece apart.
OK there’s another star – can you guess what’s beneath this absolute mound of garlic?
It’s actually STEAK on a Sizzling Plate, and a juicy tender cut of it. From $38++, this is delightful.
They somehow fry the garlic in different styles and pile it atop, a lovely buttery mess!
They do have good pasta options. Here is Grilled Chicken & Mushroom Risotto ($23)
And Lemon Calamari Cream Risotto ($23), an interesting combi.
Fresh Seafood Soup Pasta ($23) with shrimp, baby octopus, and clam – this had a sweet and savoury kick!
Some drinks ($7) – their Signature Yuzu Ade and Wine Ade! Worth a try.
Oh we LOVED the dessert!! Vanilla Ice Cream on Chocolate Pizza 8” ($15). I would go just for this actually.
An interesting combi, cold Haagen Daz ice cream atop warm Nutella sauce and even some mild garlic crunch!
