Mister Wu Chinatown turns it’s Dimsum Buffet into a $32 Platter, 4 pax dines for the price of 2!
Mister Wu used to be a dimsum buffet place where you pay a price of $32 to $42, you’ll have access to their All You Can Eat Dimsum menu with more than 20 items to choose from. They don’t have a particularly expansive selection of items, but there are are some interesting items to try: Abalone Siewmai, Mentaiko Hargow and Truffle Carrot Cake, to name a few.
I personally find their dim sum items alright, but Mister Wu’s allure lies in their cozy environment and soothing hot teas with dimsum
Traditional buffets with self-service concepts and communal amenities now seem like a relic in the past as more establishments have opted for ala carte service buffet. Mister Wu serves ala carte dimsum buffet to begin with, but they’s decided to take this a step further.
Instead of resuming their free-flow buffet when our country entered phase two on June 19, they turned their entire buffet menu into a $32 “buffet set”. For each set a pax orders, he/she gets to try EVERYTHING in the menu, one item each. And that included 16 different dimsums and 4 main dishes. The minimum requirement is 2 pax to dine in.
They also explain that 1 “buffet set” might be too heavy for one person to finish alone, therefore when 2 pax dines in with 2 sets, Mister Wu allows 2 more person to join in as well. In another words: 4 pax dines for the price of 2 ($64)!
