Qi Lin Xuan Chicken Rice Ball @ Jurong West

This is a traditional chicken rice shop in Jurong West that serves chicken rice balls.

Garlic and ginger-flavoured rice are moulded by hand into balls while piping hot. You could eat the rice balls with a fork and spoon, or you could do it the old school way by tucking into them using your hands!

It’s so flavourful that we felt the rice balls can be eaten on it’s own, even without dipping sauce & chicken.

The size:

You could order the rice balls at $0.40 each, or have it in a complete set like this. Each plate comes with chicken, cucumbers & 3 rice balls.

Apart from its classic Hainanese steamed white chicken, there are also roasted chicken & soya chicken

Cabbage Soup

The cabbage soup is cooked in chicken bones and flavoured with pepper. The cabbage is soft, and the soup can actually be quite addictive!
